Inurnment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Margherita was born in Castelvetrano, Sicily, on October 13, 1928, to the late Francesco and Ingnazia Signorello. She married Carlo Palazzo on Sep- tember 12, 1964, and their son Francesco Palazzo was born on April 3, 1967. The fami- ly moved from Castelvetrano to the Northeast area of Kansas City, MO, in 1969. Her grandson Carlo Palazzo was born on April 3, 1996.

Margherita was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by her son, Frank Pal- azzo; her grandson, Carlo Palaz- zo; and nephew, Joe Giglio. Pam was born in Cairo, IL on April 24, 1951 and passed away in Lubbock, TX at the age of 67 after a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by her parents, Morton Payne, Kansas City prominent architect, and his wife, Barbara Davis Payne. Anne was a graduate of Shaw- nee Mission East High School and the University of Kansas where she majored in journal- ism. She began her career in adver- tising in what became her sec- ond home and city, San Francis- co, California. Northern Califor- nia became a favorite place for Anne and her parents joined her at their vacation home in Car- mel frequently during her sever- al years in San Francisco. She returned to Kansas City and continued her career with the firm of Valentine Radford Adver- tising and subsequently in mar- keting with George Butler Asso- ciates.

She was presented at the Jewel Ball and the B. O. T. A. R.

Ball and was a sustaining member of the Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri. Throughout her life Anne re- turned to the Carmel area where she loved the ocean, the beach and the beautiful rocky coast of California and the Pa- cific Ocean. She found beauty in the gifts of nature and followed in her footsteps cap- turing that beauty with the color sense of a talented impression- ist artist. She was grateful for the many kindnesses of dear family and close friends and re- turned to them the same loving, giving and kindness. She was al- ways optimistic and faced her fi- nal health challenge with cour- age and hope.

She was inspiring to all who knew her and had a beauty that persisted through the daunting medical storm of Pancreatic Cancer. She is survived by her brother, Morton Payne III and his wife Libby of Oklahoma City, her niece, Mary Payne Moran and James Moran of Los Angeles, California and nephew, Matthew and Meg Payne of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and very special grandniece and grandnephews. At her passing she was sur- rounded by Morton and his wife, Libby, their children, Mary and Matthew and close friends in- cluding Nancy Gray and Bill Ross. The family wishes to thank all of her friends who have been so supportive and helpful in her fight with her illness. They also wish to thank the caregivers of the Kansas City Hospice, Hearts at Home and Comfort Care.

7, 1939 in Booneville, AR and passed on Nov. 4, 2018 at Kansas City Hospice House. She will be missed! Jim Prather Jan. 7, 1939 Nov. 5, 2018 James Windsor Prather was born January 7, 1939, in North Kansas City, Missouri, to John Baruch (J.B.) and Viola Ruth Prather.

James and his older sister Martha enjoyed growing up on Prather Hill, and playing on the 80 acre farm that their Great Grandfather Baruch Prather purchased in 1831 (a short distance east of Avondale and North Kansas City, Missou- ri). Jim attended Cooley Elementa- ry School and North Kansas City High School, and graduated from William Jewell College in 1961, where he was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Frater- nity. He honorably served on ac- tive duty in the United States Air Force in 1962. He worked for over 30 years in Agricultural for Farmland Industries, before branching off to start WilFarm, LLC with his respected colleagues and friends in the Ag-Chemical busi- ness, from which he retired. Jim attended Avondale United Methodist Church through his youth as his great grandparents were charter members.

It was there that he met the love of his life, Patsy Mathew Prather, and on June 20, 1964, they were united in marriage. He enjoyed many years as an active mem- ber in the Avondale UMC con- gregation, singing in the choir, serving and teaching in his Sun- day School class, and serving in his role on the committee. Jim loved to laugh, and to help others see the humor in any sit- uation. He had a lovely baritone singing voice, and performed several solos at church. His hob- bies include golfing, gardening and landscaping, fishing and boating at Tablerock lake, dot- ing on his wife, sister, daugh- ters, and granddaughters, and attending several with friends from high school, Sunday School, and his Corner Cafe group.

He will live on through the memories of all who knew him! Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Louise Mathew Prather, survived by his sister, Martha Prather Moore (Jim), two daughters, Suzanne Janette Prather Kirk (Steven), Rebecca Jane Prather Ballou (Trent), and two granddaughters, Meredith Louise and Caroline Jane Ballou. Born April 13, 1935, to Edward and Louise Fink, mom was a lifelong resident of Kan- sas City, Kansas. Nadyne Fink graduated from Wyandotte High School in May 1953 and was joined in mar- riage to Gerald Ross later that year. Mom and dad were blessed to be able to enjoy over 50 years of marriage together before his passing in 2003. Our loving mom was a home- maker who enjoyed being out- doors when she was younger where she tended to her yard, gardened and took trips to hike, backpack and camp. Mom loved many pets over her life, especially her cats.

In later years, mom relaxed with family and enjoyed watching television shows which she had carefully selected and recorded to her DVR. Nadyne was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved hus- band, Gerald Ross; her brothers, Marvin and Robert Fink; nieces as well as many cats and dogs. Bertie Marie Wilson Bertie Marie Wilson passed away on the morning of Novem- ber 9, 2018, surrounded by lov- ing family friends. She was born in Shendoah, Iowa, then grew up in Jasper, Missouri. Bertie graduated from Jasper High School then moved to Kan- sas City, Kansas in 1942. She was a member of Brenner Heights Baptist Church. Bertie was part owner of two business- es in her lifetime Wilson Tool Die, Inc.

and Tax and Accounting, Inc. She was a sub- stitute school teacher for 4 years at Vance Elementary and White Church Elementary School. She was an active member of the Parent Teacher Association at Vance Elementa- ry, White Church Elementary and also Coronado Middle School. Her family and home were her passion and meant everything to her. She loved her country music, trips to Branson, Missou- ri and all her little kittens she had.

She was a proud mama of her babies and her home. Bertie worked hard in her yard and loved every minute of it. She married the love of her life, Marvin Keith Wilson. Surviving children are Larry Dean Wilson, Ronald Keith Wil- son, Stephen Allen Wilson, Joyce Marie Wilson (Speilman), Janice Sue Wilson (Anthony) and Julie Ann Wilson Bertie had 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She leaves her sister, Bobbie Ann Hartman (Cobb) of Spring- field, Missouri.

She also leaves loving nieces and nephews. Bertie was preceded in death by her parents, Iva Charles Waggoner, Brother Jack, Broth- er Floyd and Sister Bessie. Bertie had two special friends, Kylene Williams and Loretta Crawford and many more friends, both personal and busi- ness related. Momma, you will truly be missed! Harold Kent Wilson Kent Wilson of Summit, MO passed quietly at his home on November 5, 2018. Kent was born in Windsor, MO on Au- gust 6, 1940. He met and mar- ried the love of his life, Sue Ken- nedy, and they have enjoyed 60 years of marriage. Kent and Sue moved to Summit af- ter Kent graduated from Central Missouri State University with a degree in education. He worked for for 27 years and in 1992, accepted a teaching posi- tion in business at DeVry Univer- sity.

He completed a MBA while at DeVry and retired in 2015. Kent was an avid hunter, angler, and loved playing competitive chess with family and friends. Win, a true New Englander, moved to the Kansas City area in 2008 and resided at Santa Marta where he continued to enjoy his love of photography and genealogy. A graduate of Harvard University with a Bache- lor of Science Degree in Physics and advanced studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Tech- nology, Win was awarded pat- ents for satellite communica- tions technology. During his ca- reer he performed classified work for the U.S. government and worked for telecommunica- tions companies, including GTE. Win served in the U.S.

Navy as a radio operator. A generous, gentle soul, Win loved spending time hiking, sail- ing and pursuing his passion for outdoors photography from his property in the North East King- dom of Vermont. In 1997, Win and Florence donate 356 acres to the state of Vermont to es- tablish Sentinel Rock State Park, which continues to be en- joyed by the public to this day. A special thanks to his physi- cian Dr. John Dunlap and the staff of Santa Marta, including Karen Dionne Neville, Jon Percca and Rediet Fantaye.

Win was cremated and his re- mains will go home to New Eng- land in the summer of 2019 when a memorial service will be held in Westmore, Vermont.
