A University of Rochester psychology professor,Dr. Ronald Rogge, studied 174 engaged and newly married couples with 3 different goals – one group did therapy, another watched a selected movie each week, and the last group did nothing different for three years.
The group that watched movies were given a list of 47 movies with intimate relationships and asked to watch and discuss the movie together for the month.
